Netwalking for Business

In every walk with nature, one receives far more than they seek.” John Muir

You want to escape the office occasionally and get outside, particularly on those days when it is sunny beyond the glass. But you know you need to continue to be productive.

Or you need to make some new contacts and want to actually get to know them, rather than simply swap business cards.

If this sounds a bit like you then join us for netwalking – to walk, talk and network. It’s the perfect opportunity to make new connections and have time to get to know them in a relaxed atmosphere. You can share ideas around different business ventures and draw inspiration from nature with the added bonus of getting some fresh air & exercise.

A different concept in business development, it’s basically just networking in the great outdoors. Talking with like-minded, energising businesspeople in an informal, fun – and healthy – context.

How it Works

The way it usually works is that we gather and introduce ourselves to start with. There will be a broad theme to encourage conversation between netwalkers and explore different aspects of your business ventures. We pair off initially and then change the pairings roughly every 20 minutes so you get to share ideas with several people.

Depending on which walk we are doing (see the map on the right for current locations), the paths could be anything from wheelchair-accessible solid paths to path-free open hillside – walking boots are always recommended because even good paths can sometimes be wet and muddy.

Walk length is never huge – about an average hour of walking – and most of them are relatively flat and easy walking to allow for breathing and talking!

I’m happy to chat to you for free in the first instance, to see if coaching would benefit you and whether we ‘fit’ – I’d hate you to sign up for a series of sessions and decide after the first one that you don’t want any more (except in the unlikely event that we have dealt with all your topics in one go!)
