Nick Smith
Nick is the founder of Square Pegs Coaching and reponsible for all the outdoor life coaching work done. After almost 20 years of coaching outdoor activities he is very experienced and well-qualified to take you on a real journey, wherever that might be. As a certified life coach and NLP practitioner he is also more than able to work with you in a coaching capacity.
He has lived and worked on three continents and on no fewer than six occasions has moved to a new area where he knew no-one. Whether this was a deliberate choice or externally driven he has become adept at dealing with novelty, changing direction and making the future look brighter. Nick uses a combination of NLP tools, metaphoric outdoor experiences and indoor coaching tools licenced to him by xpand international and persolog GB. Nick is based in Argyll and is happy to organise an outdoor coaching experience for you in his local area. However, he will also travel to where you are if you would prefer. Given the often inclement weather in the west of Scotland, he has also been known to conduct coaching indoors. Lindsay Smith
 Lindsay Smith, HR Consultant | After graduating in psychology from Surrey University, Lindsay completed a number of generalist HR jobs before becoming an HR Business Partner for a large telecoms company. Through this work she developed a sound understanding of recruitment processes in different types of organisations, as well as gaining a solid basis in employment law, grievance processes and tribunals.
As well as now working for a large educational institution, she offers consultancy to people wanting to change jobs, but also to those who want help to navigate through the legalities and bureaucracy of the employment world, whether as employers or employees. Lindsay is qualified to run psychometric testing to a high level and particularly uses Occupational Interest Profiles and Personality Profiles to help people understand what they are best suited for in the career world as well as to assess candidates for vacancies. Since many of the services she offers can be supplied over the phone or completed through the internet she is available to help you wherever you live. Her outdoor passion is sailing - it's where they first met. |
